WHere is an easy interpretation of a cocktail featured on the seasonal drinks list. It's a batch premix which is loaded with flavours of a festive period, which makes it perfect for your festive gathering. Save the extra cordial for brunch beverages, sweets, or for more rounds of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 people
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Combine all the components in a pot, bring to a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the stove allowing it to reach room temperature entirely. Decant to a sealable bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, it will last for up to four weeks.
To make Cocktail Base: Combine every liquids in a sizeable container, leave to sit for one hour, then strain preferably using muslin, so it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base to a stirring glass filled with ice, and agitate gently for one minute until cold. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries and finish with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the drink.
